Responsibilities and Requirements of the Contractors:
- Provide recommendations of high-quality hemp strain seeds, plants or clones to growers for spring and summer cropping seasons or in greenhouses for year-round production where applicable.
- Provide grower training and certification in the production of hemp and other rotational crops in such areas as soil health (pH, and soil fertility), pest management (insects, diseases, and weed control), and planting and harvest scheduling during the entire inaugural growing seasons (1-2 yrs.) with follow-up training as needed.
- Provide competitive markets for harvested crops. We will either purchase your crop for processing within our company, or assist in identifying other processing companies that are receptive of giving you competitive prices for your crop.
- Provide a 5-year optional renewal contract to growers in the production and marketing of their hemp crops as long as they follow instructional training in the production of quality harvested hemp and harvest on time so as to remain compliant with state and federal THC regulations.
- Recommend which selected hemp strain/clone or seed should be grown in a specific location by each farmer, based on environmental growing conditions, strain genetic adaptability to a given location, and intended market.
- Offer grower bonus up to 5% of harvest value of processed crop based on the amount and quality of the harvested product as an incentive to maximize farming operations.
- Assist growers in financial planning and record-keeping, tax preparation, and associated management requirements as needed to ensure grower success and financial stability; growth and succession planning; and assistance in securing banking services as needed.
- Provide Annual Hemp Contractors/Growers, Processors and Investors meetings to review previous season, discuss company updates, future projections for growing seasons, lessons learned, successes and accomplishments, and future plans and projections. Initial meeting will be held in Louisiana.
